Technical Adviser of Nigeria’s senior national football side, the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has called up 24 players for the World Cup Qualifier match against Algeria.
The game to hold in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital promises to be an exciting one which the Super Eagles are bent on securing all three points.
Arsenal’s Iwobi and Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, who both scored during the last qualifying match against Zambia in September are among the stars making the list.
The German tactician has included Odion Ighalo of Watford, who missed the game against the Chipolopolo because of his father’s death.
John Ogu and Etebo Oghenekaro also made the Eagles’ list.
The game is scheduled for November 12, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo.
