IRT Arrests Deadly Kidnapping Group On Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway

After Weeks of unrelenting follow up and deploying Advanced Technology, IRT Special Teams deployed to Jigawa, Katsina, Niger and Kaduna States have arrested the most deadly kidnapping group operating along Abuja-Kaduna-Kano  expressway.

The gang according to the Police Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, is responsible for the killing of Barrister Sheriff Yazid on September 17, 2017 and the kidnapping of his wife, Jamila Yazid along Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

The gang was also said to have collected ransom after committing the heinous act.

While briefing pressmen in Rijiana town along Abuja-Kaduna expressway, 15 members of the deadly and blood thirsty kidnapping gang were paraded with several rifles, ammunition, military uniforms, charms and operational vehicles recovered from them.
