Publicity Secretary of the outgoing national executive council of the Ijaw National Congress(INC), Chief (Engr.) Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha has promised service delivery for the Ijaw nation if he is elected as the organization’s First Vice President in the forthcoming March 7th national elections of the INC.
He gave the promise midweek when he was submitting his interest for for the position in Ijaw House, the INC’S headquarters in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa State.
Our source gathered that Oyakemeagbegha hails from Torugbene urban town in the Tuomo clan of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Engineer turned-Ijaw nation’s image maker and Vice President hoiefu noted that in all his life he has been dedicated in serving and working for the Ijaw course, hence his emergence as Publicity Secretary in the outgoing Benjamin Okaba’s led national executive council.
He said he wields the needed candour, and that he is good spirited, while also possessing the rapporteurial capabilities to execute the functions of the office of the First Vice President of the sociocultural organization.
Oyakemeagbegha averred that he tend to work in synergy with all stakeholders and leadership of the INC for the rapid development and progress of the Ijaw people, irrespective of clan and state.
He said:”I would synergize with all stakeholders and the leadership of the Ijaw nation as first Vice President when I’m elected for the development and progress of our land and people.
“As VP(1), I’ll bring my wealth of experience on the services I’ve rendered to the Ijaw nation in my previous assignments and endeavours to bear in my new office when I’m returned elected.
“From what we’ve seen so far, I like to appreciate the National Electoral Committee of the INC for their credibility in the sale of the forms. So far they’ve adhered strictly to the provisions of the INC constitution in handling activities concerning the forthcoming polls”.
