A 52-year-old man, Tosenu Lussien who was found with human skull by policemen on Friday 23, said that he found the human skull and took it home for future purposes five years ago.
The suspect,looking scared and remorseful said that it was his first time of dealing in human parts.
“I saw the human head at Oko-Ode, sagamu area of Ogun State while on security duty and brought it home that I may need it later. It was fresh when I saw it but it is now a skull.
On why he took the human head home instead of reporting to the police, he said: “I am a traditionalist and I have been working for people but this is the first time I will be dealing with human parts and its because I was privilege to have found the skull five years ago.
“Recently one of my in-laws requested that I help him get human head which he wants to use for business ritual and I promised to do something about it. Later I received a call from someone that needs human part and I asked the person to pay me N150, 000. I didn’t know they were policemen until they came into my apartment.” he said regretably.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, Mr Danladi Galandachi while briefing journalist at the Lagos state command said the suspect usually charge up to N1m on the human parts.
“The suspect have been in the business for years and in his confessional statement, he said he charges up to a million naira for human parts. He was arrested by policemen who disguised as buyers.” Galandachi said.
