Hoodlums Attack: CP Akinmoyede Visits, Evaluates Vandalised Police Stations, Other Facilities

By: Okosun Dennis

The Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Isaac Akinmoyede has taken a guarded tour of police stations and other facilities burnt and destroyed after hoodlums hijacked the #EndSARS# protest with a view to evaluating the extent of damage.

During the visit, the CP met with some of the community leaders and assured them that the Command was doing everything possible to restore security in the affected areas as the Command wouldn’t tolerate hoodlums to hoist a spate of insecurity and allow men of the under world take over the communities.

He admonished Police officers of the Communities not to loose hope as what happened was just a momentary set back.

As a result, he directed the officers to return to work as the government is seriously working on the welfare of the Police.

CP Akinmoyede used the opportunity to call for absolute professionalism on the part of officers and men of the Command
