Heritage Forum, S/West Stakeholders Honours OGD

The HRM Heritage forum,  the first world and largest online forum of traditional rulers in Yoruba land has honoured former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel with an award in recognition of his exemplary leadership traits and unprecedented efforts at fostering unity among traditional rulers in Yorubaland.
Otunba Rufai Adeleke, one of its co-founders, while presenting  the award, stated  that the forum considered Otunba  Daniel worthy for his unique reforms and respect for traditional institution  in elevating over sixty village heads in Ogun State to full fledge monarchs while serving as governor in Ogun State in 2010.
The forum, he said, deemed it fit to thank Otunba Daniel and also encourage him to do more in the promotion of tradition and culture of the Yoruba people and projecting it to the outside world.
The Yoruba race, he said, is poised for greater heights having been blessed with the likes of Otunba Daniel who has been at the forefront fighting for the cause of Yoruba race in all its ramifications
In the same vein, Otunba Daniel who is also the Deputy Chairman, PDP Presidential Campaign Council, (South) received in audience, a team of political stakeholders in the Southwest on a courtesy visit at his Lagos residence in the build up to the forth coming general elections.

Led by the duo of Senator Ogunwale and Akinrogun Segun Taiwo, the stakeholders spoke glowingly of Otunba Daniel as a trustworthy and visionary leader who Yoruba land is blessed with at this crucial period of our national history going by his giant strides in the nation’s political scene.
