…As NAOSNP Says She Lived A Fulfilled Life

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commiserated with the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, on the death of his mother, Alhaja Sidikat Odumosu.
Alhaja Sikirat Odumosu died at Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilisan Remo, Ogun State on Thursday after a brief illness at the age of 88.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, urged the deceased family, friends, associates and the people of Ijebu-Ode to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a good life before her departure.
He said the elderly and wise counsel of the late octogenarian would be solely missed, not only by her family but the people who were close to her during her lifetime.
Sanwo-Olu urged CP Odumosu and his entire family to see the death of his dearly beloved mother as the opening of a new chapter and new reality for them.
“On behalf of the good people of Lagos State and my adorable wife, Ibijoke, I sympathize with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, on the demise of his beloved mother, Alhaja Sidikat Odumosu.
“I pray that God will grant the late Alhaja Odumosu eternal rest and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the governor reiterated.
Similarly, the President of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), Mr Samson Oki, in his condolences describe the Lagos CP mother as worthy of emulation for living a fulfilled life.
He noted that the type of clout the accomplished police officer has amassed over the years in the course of performing his legitimate duties, is a clear indication that he was brought up by a superwoman, imbued with discipline which is the bedrock of parenting.
“Having a son like you means that your mother lived a fulfilled life, and should be celebrated. This is because you have shown yourself as a disciplined officer with impeccable background. Allowed thanks to your mother,” the statement added.
The President, on behalf of the integrity based Association of time tested journalists, prayed to God to grant Odumosu and members of the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“Therefore, on behalf of NAOSNP, I pray that the good will grant you and the entire family members the heart and fortitude to bear the loss, and move ahead, knowing that Mama lived a fulfilled life,” he said.
