Gospel Music Association Of Nigeria, Lagos Chapter Endorses Sanwo-Olu For Second Term

The Lagos State Gospel Music Association Of Nigeria (GOMAN), has endorsed the candidacy of incumbent governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwó-Olu in the 18th March governorship election in the state.
Governor of the group, Hon.  Isreal Eyinju,  commended
leaders  of  the group which include: Apostle Raphael Babalola, Evang Dr. Odun Akins, Majesty Olubunmi Ogunremi, Evang Olumide Ajayi, and other leaders at the emergency meeting held on 12th of March, 2023, at  Oshodi, Lagos State, where Sanwó-Olu’s endorsement was unanimously agreed upon.
It was emphasised in the meeting how important to review the previous election and the need to present a common front for the March 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
Hon. Isreal Eyinju, the Lagos State GOMAN Governor, in his welcome address said it was the Gospel Musician Associations that requested for a Christian Governor, adding that GOMAN, Lagos State Chapter,  is solidly behind Sanwo-Olu.
He further said, “The Gospel Musician Association of Nigerian, Lagos State chapter,  asked for a Christian Governor and  Governor Sanwo-Olu has done very well in the last four years.
“This Gubernatorial election is not about any political party but about the candidate. Mr. Sanwo-Olu has made Christians very proud and has governed the state without any religious bias. He is one of us and the Gospel Ministers in Lagos State is speaking with one voice that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu deserves our support again.
Hon.  Eyinju, however calls on all great  leaders of GOMAN and the Church across different religious divides – Pentecostals, Orthodox, OAIC, religious and Christian organisations, even Muslims, to support the gubernatorial candidacy of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
Apostle Raphael Babalola at the event said, Lagos under Sanwo-Olu has been peaceful and that explains why there’s influx of people across the country to earn their living in the state.
Majesty Olubunmi Ogunremi, the Lagos State GOMAN Secretary, however urged the GOMAN members to be United in voting Sanwo-Olu on March 18, 2023.
Other leaders at the meeting include, Evang Wale Odunlami, Evang Olotun Ayeni, Evang Ologbon Sunny, the Lagos State GOMAN Ass Secretary, Evang Mrs. Kemi Osho, the Lagos State Treasurer, PRO Tope Praise, Evang Mrs Ademi Adegeebo Eyinju, the Vice Chairman GOMAN Ejigbo  Zone, Evang Adeleke of Alimosho  zone, Evang Tope Oguntuase, GOMAN Chairman of Ejigbo, Evang Dare Bakare Major of Ikorodu, Pastor Adeboye Segun of Ifako,  Ijaiye, Evang Daniel Awolusi, Evang Oyeyemi Akinsola of Akute zone, Evan Oladimeji Adewale of Alimosho II, Evang Abiona Olugbenga of Agbado Zone,  Evang Mrs Olukemi John, Evang Mrs Temmy James Iyanda,, Evang Lanre Adeyanju of KOSOFE Zone, Evang Olajide Akanni of Iju Fagba Zone.
Others were: Evang Mrs. Adeleke Folake, Lagos State GOMAN prayer Coordinator, Pastor Bola Olayemi, Evang Mrs. Omolara Adanri, Evang Zion Oyerinde, amongst others.
