Foremost Nationalist, Chief Samuel Ayodele Adebanjo, Dies at 96

 

Chief Samuel Ayodele Adebanjo, a prominent nationalist and elder statesman, has passed away at the age of 96.

 

According to a statement from his family, Chief Adebanjo died peacefully on the morning of Friday, February 14, 2025, at his residence in Lekki, Lagos State.

 

The family confirmed his passing in a statement released to newsmen on Friday, expressing gratitude for his remarkable legacy and requesting privacy during this difficult time.

Details of his funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon.
