Three finalists have been named for the 3rd edition of the Journalists For Christ (JFC) Innovative Young Journalist Award.
The finalists are Esther Onyinyechi Mark, Content Development Editor, Edufrica and Scholars Hub Africa, Tayo Elegbede, multimedia journalist with TheNewsGuru.com and Ebenezar Wikina, Digital Communications/Research Officer at the Rivers State Government Sustainable Development Goals Office (RSSDGs).
According to President of JFC, Lekan Otufodunrin, entries for the award will be assessed by a panel headed by multiple award-winning journalist, Fisayo Soyombo, Editor, TheCable for Choice of topics, depth of coverage, impact and presentation.
“The winner and runners-up of the award will be announced at an award ceremony scheduled to hold along with our New Year JFC Fellowship scheduled for Saturday, January 28,2017 in Lagos,” Otufodunrin said.
The event scheduled to hold at the International Press Centre, Dideolu Estate, Ogba, Lagos at 12noon shall attract journalists and allied professionals.
Journalists For Christ is the organisation for Christian journalists and allied professionals with members across media houses in Nigeria.
