Female Trader Arrested For Stabbing Man At Ishaga Market

The Police this evening have arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed a man with knife at the Iju-Ishaga market in Lagos State over a provocation,National Wire has learnt.

According to eye witness reports, the unidentified woman is a trader in the market.

A trader who preferred to be anonymous told National Wire that the victim is from northern Nigeria.

She stated further that, “The woman in question must have been provoked because she is of a quiet temperament.”

Another trader in the marker who doesn’t want his name in print said, “The aboki (Hausa) man kept provoking her until she was forced to pick a knife.”

Other eye witnesses in the market said the Police were alerted and have since taken the attacker away.

Iju-Ishaga market is located in a Lagos suburb and not far from the site of the unfortunate Dana air crash of 3rd June 2012 that killed all 153 on board and others on the ground.
