Executive Director UNFPA, former Health Minister, Professor Osotimehin is dead

Nigeria’s former Health Minister, Professor Babatunde Osotimehin is dead.

Osotimehin, 68 was also the Executive Director of the United Nations Populations Fund, UNFPA.

Osotimehin was a former Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan who was re-appointed Executive Director of UNFPA in 2014, the post he first got appointed to hold in 2010.
