The federal government of Nigeria has declared Monday July 11 and Tuesday July 12, 2022 as public holidays to mark this year’s Muslim festival – Eid-el Kabir.
Ministry of Interior announced it in a press statement via a Twitter handle, @MinOfInteriorNG on Thursday July 7, 2022.
Nigerians are expected to celebrate the festival lowkey as a result of high cost of living and insecurity.
