American gospel artiste, Don Moen has refuted the rumour making the rounds that he was dead.
The minister who allayed the fear of his fans through his Twitter handle said he is alive and well.
Don Moen on Wednesday dispelled the rumour by posting his family picture showing himself, his father, his own son and two of his grandchildren reportedly taken today.
An American medium reported today that Moen had passed on after a stomach ache.
The website had reported, “An American singer-songwriter, pastor, evangelist, Don Moen has died after a short battle with stomach pain.
“His family confirmed that he died early this morning at General Acute Care (GAC) Hospital in California shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
“The cause of his death is not immediately known as the body is deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
“President Donald also has expressed his tributes, saying Don Moen was “one of the best gospel artists that the country has ever produced.”
The Christian community across the world this morning was thrown into mourning over the news which turned out false.
In Nigeria, where the Don Moen brand had become popular since the 1990s, Christians were already in mourning mood which mood has been lifted when Moen debunked the news via his verified Twitter account @donmoen.
