Again, God received all His glory as founding pastor of Pillar of light fire ministry, pastor Rowland Itienajirhvwe dedicated and marked the two years anniversary celebrations of his church, recently in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Located in Igbogene town, gate way community of Yenagoa, the Pillar of light fire ministry could be likened to a child ready and willing to serve, obey his/her parents commandments and instructions, as the founding pastor and entire members of the church which started from a very humble beginning, according to an eyewitness accounts who pleaded the condition of anonymity displayed their willingness to serve the most high God in their entirety.
Needless to reiterate that even as the church members showed high commitments for God’s service, the youthful founding pastor, Itienajirhvwe, while speaking with Newsmen monitoring the event shortly after service relived how the ministry took-off.
He stated that it became even the merrier and necessary praising God, giving Him all the glory as the creator showed His mercies and grace upon the church, leading to the miraculous building of a vineyard for God just after two years upon the founding of the ministry.
Itienajirhvwe also noted that there were times when the church conducted her weekdays and Sunday services in the open air without a roof atop the blocks carrying the foundation of the newly built church, adding that membership of the church upon its challenges occasioned by lack of befitting building at inception had even miraculously increased in strength and number, hence there was reason to glorify God.
In his exortation, Pastor Victor Akpoethe, guest preacher venerated God for his mercies and grace upon the Pillar of light fire ministry, saying it pleases the Lord when his servants build Him a house for His worship, noting also that it pays even more when christians engage in giving, rather than being receivers always.
This was even as Pastor, Frank Ayobra, Spiritual father of Pastor, Itienajirhvwe, founder of the Pillar of light fire ministry commended his godson and founder of the ministry for his dedication to God’s service, saying that if in just two years of the existence of the ministry, the church was able to build a house for the Lord, the Heavenly father shall continue to prosper and make the church execute even greater projects on to his glory in the coming years.
The event had many other clergy in attendance, as highpoints of the anniversary and dedication service included praise renditions, drama presentation, testimonies and choreography.
