CP Nasiru Takes Over From AIG Akinmoyede In Imo State Command

There was a change of baton at the Imo State Police Command on Thursday as the newly promoted AIG Isaac Akinmoyede handed over to his successor, CP Nasiru Mohammed as the 37th Commissioner of Police at the State Headquarters.

The recent posting and promotion saw the redeployment of his predecessor taking over the commandship of Zone 17, Akure, Ondo State after his elevation to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG).

CP Nasiru Mohammed, who hails from Zaria in Kaduna State, was enlisted into the Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

SP Ikeokwu Godson Orlando , Spokesperson of the Command further disclosed that CP Nasiru has served the Force in various capacities in different commands and formations.

Until his recent posting as the Commissioner of Police, Imo State, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of Operations in Borno State.
