“Conduct Yourself Professionally To Avoid Motorist Knocking You Down” – FRSC Lagos Sector Commander Advises

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos Sector Commander Babatunde Farinloye, has charged the Apapa taskforce operation on professionalism while performing their official duties.

He advises the officers that “Under no circumstance should a staff be knocked down by an incoming vehicle, adding that the personnel should always conduct themselves professionally on duty.

Farinloye gave the advice on Monday while addressing the personnel at Apapa Unit office.

“We want the taskforce team to be safety conscious at all times,” he reiterated.

Farinloye further advised the taskforce operatives to be civil on duty and think smarter, than been harder while enjoining them that they were expected to work hand in hand with other agencies within the corridor for joint achievement of the task.

He also urged the personnel to shun any form of compromise and gratification while performing their official duties.

The Sector Commander said any staff caught in bribery issues would have to face the full wrath of the law.

The FRSC Public Education Officer Superintendent Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi added in a statement that Farinloye called on drivers of articulated trucks especially containerized trucks to always twist lock their trucks, and avoid dangerous driving especially when overtaking other vehicles.
