Bayelsa State Commissioner for Ijaw National Affairs, Elder Patrick UcheOwaji Erasmus has described the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri as an achiever par excellence.
Erasmus gave the Commendations in Yenagoa while speaking with Newsmen during the third year anniversary celebrations of the governor.
He said during the past three years that the Diri’s-led led ‘Prosperity Government’ has been on ground, the governor has shown great leadership standards in project execution and policies implementation, describing the third year anniversary celebration activities of the ‘Prosperity Government’ as well deserving of the administration.
It would be recalled that Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State commenced activities for the celebration of his third year in office anniversary which were later cut-short by the Government on reasons best known by the Diri’s-led ‘Prosperity Government’ last weekend.
He said: “Upon assumption of office, the ‘Miracle Governor’ of the state, his excellency Governor Douye Diri commenced not only a vigorous pursuit of the ‘Prosperity’ agenda, but has also embarked on the completion of all inherited projects and Programmes from his predecessor.

“Remember, there’s no sector of the state socioeconomic sphere that hasn’t experienced one form of project or programme inauguration or the other in the entire three years of this administration”.
Similarly, the Ijaw Affairs Commissioner has restated the importance of the Governor’s choice for a second tenure, saying that upon his sterling performance in all sphere of the administration he needed to consolidate on the outstanding performance he has shown through capacity and Competence.
He called on all Bayelsans and the Ijaw nation to support the second term bid of the Governor, noting that Governor Douye Diri is a Pan-Ijaw Democrat with a compassionate heart and no mean solidarity when it comes to Ijaw related affairs.
