CNS Doesn’t Have Facebook Account – Naval Spokesperson

… says ignore, report scammers

The Nigerian Navy Headquarters, Abuja has warned members of the public that a Facebook account purportedly claimed to belong to the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, is fake as the CNS doesn’t have an existing Facebook Account.

As a result, members of the public are warmed that the recent trend of impersonation of the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral EI Ogalla on Facebook and other social media handles by suspected scammers and online bots, should be ignored and disparaged.

In a statement by the Director Naval Information (DINFO), Commodore Aiyuwor Adams-Aliu in Abuja explained that “the CNS does NOT have a Facebook account and any account found in his name is a fake account.”

Accordingly, he enjoined members of the public to take note of “these pages and report such accounts aggressively so as to ensure they are taken down.”
