Christian talent group, TAKEdSTAND is set to present a family beach carnival in Lagos.
The event which promises to provide a fun experience for family, friends and corporate Nigeria is billed for 1st April at Baracuda Beach Resort and Water Park on the Atlantic Ocean by Okun Mopo Village, Opposite White House Mopo road, off Ogombo road, off Abraham Adesanya roundabout, Ajah, Lagos State.
According to convener of the event, Obus Zalee Brodoh, the purpose of the event is to create family bonding, alternative platform for excellent Christian entertainment for upcoming artistes and talented young people to showcase their God-given talents.
“The event is an opportunity for family bonding away from the hustle and bustle of the mega city. It is also an avenue to create alternative platform for excellent Christian entertainment for upcoming artistes, ministries and industries,” Brodoh tells National Wire.
Being a lively event to unwind in a relaxed and positive atmosphere, the event according to the organisers shall feature music, comedy, dance, games and competitions during which competitors shall win various prizes.
Running between 10am and 4pm, the organisers also assure security of participants as made available by resort owners. “The resort is well secured and participants would no doubt enjoy the facilities available at the location and the event shall last till 4pm to enable participants return to their destinations in good time,” www.nationalwire.com.ng was told.
To cover cost at the event, participants shall pay a token of N1,000 each and N5,000 for each VIP ticket.
Brodoh, a gospel artiest, comedian and radio personality also told National Wire that “The event is open to both Christians and non-Christians alike, however, standard must be maintained to ensure a good time at the event. He also added that, “We have received encouraging requests from groups and Churches who want to be part of the event.”
On transportation arrangement, Brodoh disclosed that “Terms and conditions apply right now on the transportation arrangement but the responses we are receiving so far are amazing.” On the types of games to feature at the event, he said, “We have arrangement for beach football, volleyball, basketball, several other games and prizes shall be won by competitors at the various games.”
Being packaged by TAKEdSTAND, the parent arm of the Christian Talents Community (CTCng), a group of upcoming artistes and talents from over 300 churches, Brodoh said, the mission of the event is to reveal and promote talents, artistes under CTCng and especially the recently unveiled album of the group by The Father’s Company.
