The BUA Group recently hosted its 2025 Night of Excellence and Long Service Awards, where 510 employees were recognized for their dedication and loyalty to the company.
Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman, Alhaji Umaru Kwairanga, was a special guest at the event, where he praised the company’s leadership and workforce.
Kwairanga commended the visionary leadership of BUA Group’s Chairman, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu, who has driven the company’s growth into a multi-trillion-naira conglomerate with diverse interests in cement production, food processing, sugar refining, and infrastructure development.
The awards ceremony honored employees who have served the company for between 5 and 40 years, with some receiving up to N1 billion each.
Kwairanga emphasized that the company’s success is rooted in its people, not just its resources.
“Tonight, we recognize the work of the executive trainee who has risen to management level over the last decades through dint of hard work and skill, as well as the junior staff who has woken up at 4 am every day for twenty-five years to beat Lagos traffic and ensure that the office is clean and ready for business,” he said.
Kwairanga urged the awardees to rededicate themselves to greater service to the BUA Group and Nigeria, noting that the award is not a destination but an incentive to do more and reap more.
The event highlighted the company’s commitment to appreciating its employees and recognizing their contributions to its growth and success. Billion Awards
