BPE To List Aviation, Re-Insurance & Petrochemical Companies On NSE … Targets 2018 & February 2019

Barring any changes, the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) has concluded plan to list three companies on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), this year and first quarter of 2019.

Alex Okoh, director general of the bureau disclosed this on Friday June 1, 2018 to participants at the Nigerian Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange dual listing conference in Lagos.

Okoh while responding to questions from participants explained that the three companies will be coming from the Aviation, Re-Insurance and the Petrochemical. Although, he did not disclosed the companies names, he said the aviation company will be listed in August 2018, Re-Insurance in November 2018 while the Petrochemical will be listed in February 2019.

He pointed out that the plan is to go for full privatization instead of partial. Highlight of the conference with the theme “Attracting Global Capital To Drive Nigerian’s Economic Reforms And Sustainable Growth Development” was the panel discussions, with speakers from the public, private and international financial organizations.
