Lucrative incentives awaits team Niger Tornadoes FC, Minna should they beat Mountain of Fires Ministries and Miracles (MFM) says Chairman of the club Adamu Aliyu Mohammed.
Mohammed, gave the charge to the team during the last training session of the Ikon Allah side at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja the Kogi State capital ahead of week 37 clash on Sunday.
The chairman told the players that he has a personal donation for each goal scored as well as a winning gift for the team.
He added further that other top personnels have also promised to shower goodies on the team should they beat MFM at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.
The Chairman, who was happy with spirit of the boys in the camped said that the position that the club occupied at the league table was not what was bargain for but they just have to accept it with the positives.
“This is not what we bargained for, we ought to have been occupying a more decent position on the league table. What I need from you is a comprehensive victory against MFM and I promise you that your efforts will not go in vain.
“One credit that God has given to us is by keeping our 100 per cent undefeated record at our adopted home ground and also thanking God for injury free season”, he said.
He assured the players that all their entitlement will be given to them as club money was meant for the players and and technical crew not for the management members of the club to share.
“It is criminal that a management of a club would at the end of the season says it is indebted to the tune of several millions of Naira without paying the players their labour”, he buttresses.
Mohammed thereby commended the discipline amongst players, coaches and management members of the club which has kept the team moving, saying that coach will bless all of the players for the sacrifice they have made for the club.
“I don’t care what ever people are saying that we have not won away match or drawn away, if you look at it we are playing all our matches away, Lokoja is our adopted home ground, therefore we need to be commended.
“After all the league is not over, we are focused on Sunday game against MFM and we don’t want to be distracted. So after our MFM match we will see how we can get our away victory against Pillars in Kano”, he said.
He also thanked the people of Lokoja for their massive support which he noted has been the success story of the club’s 100 per cent record at home without losing at home, saying that this was the positives that should be accorded to the club.
