The trio of Dr. Franklyn Osaisai, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri and Dr Boladei Igali, Bayelsa state governorship aspirants on the platforms of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC respectfully during the weekend declared their interests to run for the November, 16th 2019 governorship election in the state as well as dedicated their campaign offices in Yenagoa, the state capital.
Speaking to newsmen in their respective campaign offices the governorship aspirants promised a crime free and secured state if they win the governorship election.
In a statement the APC guber aspirant Lokpobiri said, “When I was speaker of the Bayelsa Assembly 20 years ago Bayelsa state ”. He continued. “I will make sure your lives and properties are secured and provide you with jobs”. He concluded.
Also speaking at the declaration ceremony of Lokpobiri and commissioning of his campaign office, the former minister for Agriculture, chief Audu Ogbe said he has decided to support and work towards the actualization of the immediate past minister of state for agriculture’s ambition due to his intellectual capacity and experience over the years, maintaining that Lokpobiri would put smiles on the faces of Bayelsans if elected as governor, saying an APC government would stamp out corruption and bring development in the state.
Meanwhile restating his resolve to moving Bayelsa forward, Dr Boladei Igali, a PDP guber aspirant maintained that while the present administration of Governor Seriake Dickson has done well, as guber hopeful if he succeed in the forth coming primaries and emerges winner in the governorship election he would among others give sectoral transformation and consolidate on the achievements of the present administration just as he said the dedication of his campaign office by the clergy is to invite God’s presence into his governorship ambition.
Again, Franklyn Osaisai, one of the PDP guber aspirant has assured Bayelsans that he would carry on the senatorial roads projects from where they are to farther and the remotest parts of the state if he clinches the PDP guber ticket.
Osaisai gave this assurance during the weekend at the commissioning and dedication ceremony of his campaign office in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.
The former Nigerian atomic energy commission Director-general promised Bayelsans impactful governance when he emerges as the next governor of the state.
