Frontline Bayelsa state guber aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP David Alagoa says if elected by the party’s delegates in the September 3rd, primaries and wins the November 16th, 2019 he would prioritize the industrialization and infrastructural development of the state.
Alagoa stated this Wednesday in Yenagoa, the state capital during an interview with journalists.
According to the governorship hopeful, the abundance of both natural and human resources in the state places it advantageous than most states in the nation, emphasizing that with Agriculture and transport sector development alone, the state can create better and enough jobs for its citizen just as he said with every Bayelsans earning a living crime and criminality would be curbed to the barest minimum.
The aspirant who scored successive administrations of the state low in terms of infrastructural development within and outside the capital city promised a holistic approach to urban renewal, saying that the ongoing senatorial road projects would be given a boost under his government to deliberately link the hinterlands to Yenagoa.
He reiterated that gas turbines would be built in each of the senatorial districts towards solving the perennial power problem just as he maintained that education, health facilities amongst others would be accorded indebt attention in his government.
