Bayelsa D’Gov Goes On Annual Leave

Information reaching National Wire source in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital has it that the state’s deputy governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has proceeded on his annual vacation.

The Deputy Governor according to a statement from his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr Doubara Atasi will use the period of his vacation to attend to personal family matters, undertake some religious obligations as well as undergo his routine annual medical check-up.

The statement quoted the Deputy Governor as thanking God for His mercies and protection over the years, while also expressing his gratitude to the state governor, Senator Douye Diri for his love and privilege to work with him.

He equally thanked Bayelsans for their prayers, support and for the confidence reposed in him over the period he has served the state.

The statement regrets any inconveniences the inevitable, but necessary vacation will cause Bayelsans and Nigerians in general.

Atasi added that the Deputy Governor, will be resuming work on 16th September, 2024.
