Banigo Gets Appointment As Global Shapers Community Manager For Nigerian Region

Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum has appointed Andrew Banigo, a noteworthy youth from Rivers State, as its Community Manager for the Nigerian region.

National Wire reports that Banigo who is an indigene of the Bonny council area of Rivers State, and an Alumnus of the University of Port Harcourt, brings on board his wealth of experience which is a clear manifestation that he is best fit for his new role.

Our sources gathered that prior to his assumption into the prestigious role in the Community, he served in various roles.

The new Community manager was the curator of the Port-Harcourt Hub, leaving an exceptional track record.

Presently, Mr Banigo is an advocacy coordinator at the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND), and the Project coordinator of NDLink, a prominent digital platform for development stakeholders in the Niger Delta region, respectively.

Information reaching National Wire’s news desk noted that Banigo’s consistent display of exemplary leadership, innovation and dedication in various development initiatives globally and nationally earned him this prestigious role with the global shapers.

A respondent who shares close ties with the new Community manager who pleaded the condition of anonymity disclosed to National Wire that Banigo’s deep-rooted passion for community development and advocacy would spur him to make a lasting impact as the Community Manager for the Nigerian region.

An elated Andrew Banigo while sharing the new development to Journalist stated thus: “In my new role as the Community Manager, I’ll spearhead initiatives that will foster collaboration, drive innovation, and cultivate leadership skills among the 17 Hubs and community members in the Nigerian region.

“My role as Community manager will involve nurturing a vibrant and inclusive community of young leaders who are committed to effecting positive change in their respective fields.

“Through strategic partnerships and engaging programs, we’ll strengthen the Global Shapers Community in Nigeria, ensuring its growth and impact continue to flourish.

Meanwhile more respondents have argued that Banigo’s appointment as the Community Manager for the Nigerian region is not only a personal achievement, but also a remarkable win for Rivers State and the entire Niger Delta region, saying it underscores the exceptional talent and leadership potential that exists within the state.

Also speaking on Banigo’s new appointment, his long time friend, Mr Wealth Ominabo noted that the former’s appointment would reaffirm the Global Shapers status as a breeding ground for young visionaries.
