Army Rescue 21 Young Pregnant Women From Baby Factory

Nigerian Army, on Sunday, rescued 21 Pregnant Young Women within the age bracket of 18 to 23 years based on credible intelligence.

Others rescued included two kids boy, a girl of about one year old in Abia State.

It was learnt that troops of 14 Brigade Nigerian Army (NA), had on 4 June 2023 uncovered the baby making factory at Umunkpeyi Nvosi in Isiala-Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

The facility with a deceptive sign post tagged “Mma Charity Social Development and Rehabilitation Center” is being managed by a Woman identified as Mrs Charity who is presently at large.

According to the anonymous source, the rescued pregnant ladies were confined to the facility and not allowed to go outside.

According to the source, it was further revealed that the manager was alleged to be selling babies to criminal agents for ritual and others for child trafficking purposes.

The rescued young pregnant ladies, the children, and other items recovered during the operations were handed over to the state government for further necessary action.

The government of Abia State commended efforts of the NA and pledged to bring the perpetrators to book as Abia is not a more home to criminals and illegal activities.
