Amgbare Obtains Expression Of Intent Form To Contest FUO Cooperative Election

Prince Ekaunkumo Amgbare has obtained the expression of intent form to contest the post of Public Relations Officer of the FUO Multi-purpose Cooperative Society.

Flanked by his numerous supporters, Prince Ekankumo Amgbare, while receiving the form at the Cooperative Secretariat located at the West Campus of the University stated that another opportunity beckons for Cooperators to select credible, transparent and committed new leaders to manage the affairs of FUO Cooperative Society.

The PRO hopeful who is a Senior Lab Technologist said he has the requisite experience and vast contact to create, project, maintain, sustain the image of the Cooperative Society and ensure the provision of continuous stream of news and information to members and the general public using the electronic, print media and the various social media platforms.

A graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Bayelsa State owned Premier University, popularly known as NDU and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Maiduguri, currently working at the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Prince Amgbare hinted that he has been highly involved in information dissemination as an ace practicing journalist and emphasized that his
experience in Journalism studies and practice spanned the electronic and print media.

Having worked as a Media Aide to Hon. Ebitimi Amgbare, former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Bayelsa State, member Hon. Blankson Osomkeme, Yenagoa Kolokuma/ Opokuma Federal Constituency, House of Representatives 2019.Media Team, Press Secretary Princess, Barr (Mrs) Laura Church-ere Komonibo, Member Niger Delta University Governing Council, and other media organizations he has held sway such as Bayelsa State Correspondent New Agenda Newspaper, 2007-2009, Director of Programmes Top News Television, 2008-2009, Reporter The Light Newspaper, 2014-2015, Features Editor Daybreak News 2016 till date, also a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists(NUJ) Bayelsa State Council and daily send news reports to News Agency of Nigeria, and weekly newspapers, and other online publications promised to deploy the experience garnered over years to publicize the activities of the Cooperative when elected.

Prince Ekankumo Amgbare placed on record that he has been silently publicizing activities of ANUPA, SSANU, NASU, NAAT and other major University events such as matriculation, orientation programmes, convocation, unions elections, accreditation programmes among others at personal cost and promised to replicate same for the Cooperative if voted into office.

According to the leading PRO contender, he said he is well known as Journalist within and outside Bayelsa with strong network of Journalists colleagues and promise to use his vantage position as a practicing Journalist to propagate the activities of the Cooperative in order to attract funds from partnership organizations.

He stated unequivocally that working with the exco and members, he will arrange for members to appear on live radio and television talk show programmes and also publish a monthly newsletter to publicize the activities of the Cooperative to provide constant information to members.

Prince Ekankumo Amgbare appealed to members of the Cooperative to vote massively for him on the schedule date of the election.
