AIG Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji Takes Over Command Of Zone X1

…promises secured environment, lives

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone XI Command, Osogbo comprising Osun and Oyo States Commands, AIG Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji, has assumed duty at Command Headquarters Osogbo.

Taking over on Monday, 3rd, July 2023, he assured of a secured environment, lives and properties in his jurisdiction in accordance with modern day policing system and global best standard and practice.

While calling on all officers and men to be disciplined, he reiterated that they must conform with laid down rules and regulations guiding their conduct to avoid running foul of the laws.

AIG Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji, is a graduate of History and Political Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife was called to bar at Nigeria Law School Kano, joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1990.

He had his first posting to Edo State Police Command where he learnt the Core rudiments of interrogation, investigation and prosecution, he served in different capacities within the state as a Divisional Crime Officer, Divisional Traffic Officer, Police Public Relations Officer, The Divisional Police Officer in Ikpoba Hill, Auchi, Uromi and New Benin as well as the second in Command in Department of Operations, Edo State Command.

In a statement by the Zonal Command Public Relations Officers, CSP Ayeni Benjamin said the AIG was later deployed to Ogun State Police Command in progression of his policing career where he served as Divisional Police Officer Mowe, Divisional Police officer Ilaro, Acting Area Commander Ilaro.
