About 460 Police Personnel Attached To The Niger State Police  Command Have Been Promoted And Decorated With Their New Ranks.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, while decorating the newly promoted officers and men at the Command Headquarters, in Minna, explained  that the promotion was in furtherance of the recommendation by the Inspectior General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman, for promotion of over 14,000 Officers and Men of the  Nigeria Police Force across the country  recently.

He said  the promotion which was approved by the Police Service Commission was part of the commission’s committment to further improve the welfare of police personnel.

CP Monday Bala Kuryas, while congratulating the newly promoted police officers,  advised them to redouble their efforts in the performance of their duties in order to justify their elevation to the new ranks.

The Police Boss  was assisted in decorating the promoted officers by DC, DFA, DCP Shawulu E. Dan Mamman DCP Aboki Danjuma Kaigama and other Senior Police Officers of the command, as one CSP was promoted to the rank of ACP, 61 ASPs were promoted to the rank of DSP while 62 ASP 11 and 336 Inspectors were equally promoted to ASP respectively.

Responding shortly after their decorations on behalf of other beneficiaries, ACP Isah Adejoh appreciated the effort of IGP for recommending their promotion through Police Service Commission.

ACP Adejoh also commended the state Commiasioner of Police, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, for his leadership style in the Command and promised to put more efforts in the discharge of their legitimate duties of protecting lives and properties of the  citizens residents in the state.
