Police operatives attached to Okpoko Division on Tuesday arrested one Ogbu Christian, 29, native of Mboshi in Iboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State for allegedly defiling a seven years old teenager.
The suspect who resides at Aniche Street Okpoko, Anambra State was said have allegedly lured his neighbour’s daughter (name withheld) with biscuit before unlawfully having carnal knowledge of her inside his room.
Police detectives who have visited the scene and took the victim to the hospital for medical Examination where penetration was confirmed by the medical doctor, said the case would be transferred to the State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, CP John Abang said the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.
