‎The North East Youth Investment & Innovation Summit 2025 has ended with a renewed commitment to youth-driven action and sustainable development in the region.

‎The two-day event, which brought together young entrepreneurs, policymakers, and stakeholders, concluded with a call to action for the youth to transcend entitlement mentality and adopt a culture of value creation, innovation, and regional collaboration.

‎Delivering a keynote address, the Chairman of the Occasion, Alhaji Dr. Umaru Kwairanga, emphasized that the region stands at a historic crossroads where demography must translate into productivity and potential into performance.

‎He stressed that the true value of investment and innovation lies not in policy declarations but in the capacity of young people to internalize discipline, embrace enterprise, and demonstrate measurable impact.

‎The summit featured a presentation by Dr. Amina Lawan Mustapha, a lecturer from Bayero University, Kano, who highlighted the strategic imperatives of cross-border cooperation, sustainable land management, and climate-smart innovation in dryland economies.

‎The Gombe State Government also reaffirmed its commitment to youth entrepreneurship and enterprise development, highlighting ongoing initiatives to strengthen MSMEs through policy support, capacity building, and access to finance.

‎The summit concluded with an inspection tour of the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, Dadin Kowa, where participants gained insight into the vision, operational framework, and long-term economic significance of the industrial park.

‎The event ended with a clear message: the future of the region rests in the hands of youths who are prepared not only to dream but to deliver.
