Flagship Programme: NARC Inaugurates Strategic Management Course 8/25

The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja, has inaugurated its flagship programmes, the Strategic Management and Policy Studies Course (SMPSC) 8/2025.

The event, which took place on Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 at Hall C, TY Buratai Block, marked another milestone in the Centre’s commitment to promoting strategic leadership, policy innovation, and inter-agency collaboration in Nigeria’s defence and security architecture.

The course, jointly supported by the Nigerian Defence Academy’s School of Postgraduate Studies, will enable participants to graduate with a Master’s degree in their respective fields, thereby enhancing both their academic and professional competence for higher responsibilities in national development and security management.

The course was formally inaugurated by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the NARC.

He was represented by Major General Philip Eromosele, the Deputy Director General of the Nigerian Army Heritage and Future Centre, Abuja.
