Nigeria Police Academy Rebuts PSC’s Misleading Statement, Confirms Admission Application Still Open

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, and the Federal Ministry of Police Affairs have issued a statement refuting a disclaimer by the Police Service Commission (PSC) regarding the admission application for the 12th Regular Course Degree Programmes.

In a statement, the academy confirmed that the application process is ongoing and valid, following due process in line with guidelines from the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Federal Ministry of Police Affairs.

The academy described the PSC’s statement as “misleading and legally baseless,” noting that the commission has no constitutional role in university admissions.

The public is advised to disregard the PSC’s disclaimer, and interested applicants can still submit their applications through the online portal, which remains open.
