LG Election: Change Political Narratives With Your Votes, Christian Leader Tells Lagosians

The Director-General of the Centre for Politics and Governance (CPG), the political arm of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Dr. Theophilus Ajose has called on Lagosians, to perform their civic duty.

Ajose who is also the Special Adviser on General Duties to Lagos State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, made the call on Saturday while casting his vote at Oregun-Olusosun, Ojota Lagos.

He particularly called on Christians to come out en-mass to cast their votes, saying it was a means for them to make their voices count in creating changes in the political sphere and ensuring good governance.

In a statement made available to journalists, Ajose stated, “Your vote is your voice if you want to change the political narratives and it is the major political weapon you have to install good governance.”

He said CPG has put political and social strategies and operations in place to ensure that only those who have the interests of the people of Nigeria at heart shall make it in the coming 2027 elections.

“It shall no longer be bloc voting, and the will and purpose of God Almighty shall prevail. Hence we are taking stock of current bad and irresponsible politicians both inside and outside governance,” he concluded.
