The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr. Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia, has commissioned a state-of-the-art staff clinic equipped with digital equipment to provide free healthcare services to all staff members.
The clinic, located on the 2nd floor of Phase III, Federal Secretariat, Abuja, aims to enhance staff productivity and promote efficiency in the workplace.
Dr. Anuma emphasized that the clinic is part of the Ministry’s welfare package for staff and aligns with the 2025 Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP 25). The clinic will provide evidence-based medical care free of charge to all staff members and their children.
The Permanent Secretary highlighted the benefits of the clinic, stating that it will reduce the time staff spend seeking medical care outside the office, thereby improving productivity.
The clinic is staffed by a team of medical professionals, including a doctor, nurses, a matron, an attendant, a pharmacist, and a medical laboratory scientist.
Dr. Anuma encouraged staff members to utilize the clinic’s services, assuring them of the best possible treatment.
The clinic is equipped with modern medical equipment and a wide range of medications, all provided free of charge to staff.
The commissioning of the staff clinic is a testament to the Ministry’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of its staff, under the leadership of Senator Ibrahim Gaidam.
