Lagos CP Jimoh Wants An End To Interagency Rivalry, Visits 9 Brigade Commander

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, has called on senior officers of the Nigerian Army to admonish young soldiers against interagency rivalry noting that he has been working assiduously to ensure his men respect every soldier and other men in uniform on the street.

He made the call while on a courtesy visit to Commander, Headquarters 9 Brigade, TA Lagbaja Cantonment, Ikeja, Brig Gen Matthew Oyekola on Wednesday, 16th April, 2025.

In his response, the Commander 9 Brigade, Brigadier General Olawale Matthew Oyekola, thanked the CP for the visit and said that so far, he has enjoyed working with the Police in Lagos State.

He said he believed in working with everybody in the security circle, which prompted his visit to all the federal and state security organisations when he assumed Command of 9 Brigade in August last year.

He said he believed that if everyone succeeds in what they are doing, the work of the military would be less, and it is for that reason that synergising with them is paramount to him.
