Agbura Community Lauds Ogbuku Over Execution Of Corpers Lodge Project, Others

The Agbura Community of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, have lauded the Managing-Director/Chief Executive Officer the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr Samuel Ogbuku for the execution of new a lodge for members of the National Youth Corp Service(NYSC) serving in the community.

Paramount ruler of the community, HRH EN Daufa(Ikile viii) gave the commendation in his palace recently while addressing Journalists on a tour of completed and ongoing NDDC projects in the State.

According to the royal father, the Ogbuku-led NDDC has performed overwhelmingly in projects and policy execution and implementation.

He noted that like many Niger Delta communities where the NDDC has executed projects, Agbura has benefited maximally from the Ogbuku-led NDDC projects.

The monarch enumerated some of the projects executed by the agency under the Ogbuku’s stewardship in the community to include, solar powered lights, and the recently built and furnished Corpers Lodge in the Community, amongst others.

Other projects expected from the agency according to the monarch were an auditorium, solar powered water project, a pavilion and others.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Agbura Community Development Committee, Comrade Bonfieme Georgy Meremu thanked the Commission’s boss for the projects.

Meremu particular lauded the NDDC for the timeous award and Completion of the new Corpers Lodge, noting that Youth Corp members posted to the community would now live in befitting, first grade accomodation as they serve the nation.
