Niger State Governor Sympathizes With Minna Fire Victims

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed deep sympathy to residents and shop owners affected by a fire outbreak opposite the Niger State Transport Authority (NSTA) garage in Tunga, Minna, on Monday afternoon.

The inferno destroyed property worth millions of Naira.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago acknowledged the tragic and trying moment for the victims, sharing in their pains.

He encouraged them to take solace in God, assuring that the government would provide support through relevant ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to cushion the effects of the tragedy.

The governor also emphasized the need for increased sensitization to prevent or reduce fire incidents in Minna metropolis, given the recent surge in such occurrences.
