Niger PDP salutes Nigerlites on Nigeria at 56th says APC is government is clueless.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger state has salutes the doggedness and perseverance of the citizens in the state, despite the harrowing economic hardship that has now resulted into recession.
The Party said it was disturbed that the problems being faced by the people despite the huge promises made by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) during electioneering campaigns prior to political campaigns in 2015, has not abated almost two years after the inception of the administration.
The state Chairman of the party, Barrister Tanko Beji in his 56th Independence Day anniversary. Celebrations message to the people of the state, expressed regrets that Niger state has not fared better under the ruler ship of the “clueless, vision less and rudder less APC government in the state”
Tanko Beji, said that it was sad that virtually all the social infrastructures like water, roads, health facilities etc inherited from the Peoples Democratic Party government by the APC has been allowed to rot away in less than two years, making the sufferings of the people more unbearable.
The PDP chieftain, recalled that the APC government declared state of emergencies on water, education and the health sectors at inception, but said nothing tangible has been done to redress the deplorable conditions.
He said that for several months the taps in major cities have gone dried while the road projects being embarked upon by the APC government has also been abandoned.
In addition to this, pointed out that patients visiting the general hospitals now have to sleep on bare floors with no Doctor to attend to them.
To compound the woes of the people, the chairman submitted that Governor Abubakar Sani Bello instead of remaining at home to tackle the myriads of problems bedeviling the state which he was elected to do has become a globe trotter even at the expense of the poor masses.
‘’Even as we celebrate the Nations 56thindependence anniversary amid killing hunger and excruciating poverty the Governor is busy junketing from one foreign nation to the other turning himself to the Minister of Foreign Affairs’, he stated
However the PDP chieftain urged the people of the state to remain resolute and strong in faith as we move towards 2019 general elections when the people will heave a sigh of relief from this bad leadership.
Tanko Beji admonished party members to close ranks and eschew divisive tendencies by supporting the ongoing reconciliation in the party.
“In unity lies our strength and ability to wrestle power from the misrule of the APC government at all levels”, he maintained.
He thereby congratulates Nigerlites and Nigerians on this auspicious occasion of our independence anniversary and prays that the Almighty Allah will sustain our great country
