Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has felicitated his boss, Governor Douye Diri, on the auspicious occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary.
Senator Ewhrudjakpo in a special congratulatory message, signed on his behalf by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr Doubara Atasi, described Governor Diri as a true man of peace whose ilk was rare to find in the entire political firmament of Nigeria.
According to him, Governor Diri’s disposition to governance and undying love for his people had since endeared the Prosperity Administration to Bayelsans cutting across all political party lines.
The Deputy Governor noted that Senator Diri’s 65th birthday offered yet another unique opportunity not only to the Governor but to all his well wishers to reflect on his sterling stewardship so far in the state.
While wishing Governor Diri a happy birthday, Senator Ewhrudjakpo assured all Bayelsans that the Diri-led Administration would execute more people-oriented infrastructural projects to transform the state and improve the quality of life of its people.
The Deputy Governor in the statement prayed God to grant Governor Diri sound health, good judgement and divine wisdom to enable him continually pilot the affairs of the state creditably and contribute to the development of humanity to the glory of God Almighty.
