First Nation resumes September 15

Barely one week after suspending its operations, FirstNation Airways is to resume onSeptember 15, 2016.

In a statement, FirstNation’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Rasheed Yusuf explained that the airline suspended operations to carry out routine maintenance on its fleet in line with safety standards and regulations.

Yusuf said: “In these circumstances, these airlines clearly cannot continue to undertake schedule operations, hence the inevitable recourse to self-regulatory suspension.”
