Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji said the Budget was made up of N149.332 billion recurrent expenditure and N464.661 billion capital expenditure.
According to him, subsequently, Budget should be submitted to the house three months to the end of the year to give room for proper scrutiny and early passage.
He, thereby commended his colleagues for their relentless effort towards ensuring the passage of the Budget despite the limited time frame.
Earlier, while presenting the report before its passage, Chairman House Standing Committee on Appropriation, Hon.Zubairu Ismaila said the increase in the budget was as a result of the economic realities.
He said in a bid to accommodate adjustment of some critical areas of the Budget, the committee looked into the various sources of revenue and discovered that improvement could be made from statutory allocation.
