Nigerian man 21, kills countryman in India

The Indian police have arrested a Nigerian for murder in a Mumbai suburb of Nallasopara.

The Indian police said on Monday that the accused, Michael Chukwuma, 21, has been charged to court over the murder of his friend, Obinna Durumchukwu, 34.

Friends had gathered at the deceased’s house Saturday night to mark Durumchukwu’s birthday and on Sunday, an argument ensued over which is the world’s best between two footballers; Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

According to police report, “During the conversation, a quarrel had taken place. The deceased threw a glass into the face of the accused person, the glass broke and caused small injuries. “After that the accused took the broken glass and assaulted the deceased person who died due to heavy bleeding.”

No one has made a comment from the Nigerian embassy in New Delhi, the Indian capital.
