Popular reggae musician, Majek Fashek has testified on how God delivered him from drug addiction.
The musician, who testified last Sunday at the Christ Living Apostolic Ministries (CLAM), in Lagos, appreciated the founder of the Church, Apostle Wole Oladiyun for his support.
According to him, Oladiyun and his church stood by him during his ordeal.
“My testimony is that Jesus Christ is Lord, Jesus Christ is the Master, you know before I went to Abuja for my rehab, Baba Oladiyun here came to my rescue, most Church won’t do that,” he said.
The rain maker who is fondly called continued that, “Most Churches, would not give the kind of support he got from CLAM and its founder.
“May God bless him and keep this ministry. Materials and spiritual are two different things, because Jesus Christ cannot come from heaven to heal you. This Baba is a ‘correct prophet’” Fashek said.
The artiste stated further that, his encounter with Apostle Oladiyun last year brought a turn around to his life.
Speaking during his message, Apostle Oladiyun said it would have been a great disaster if the devil has wasted a talent like Majek Fashek.
He recalls that God gave him a burden to take up his case and immediately it was announced the whole world rose up for his rehabilitation.
Describing Fashek as a great legend that will blossom again, Apostle Oladiyun prayed that the Lord will perfect all He has started in the life of the artiste.
“Today Jesus has ransomed his life, today he is a better person, his destiny can no longer be wasted,” Oladiyun prayed.
He called on churches and ministers of God to show godly love to people irrespective of religion, ethnicity and condition.
Apostle Oladiyun, who had requested Majek be brough to his church for deliverance last year, also laments that love is fast fading from the Church of God. “It is a pity; the church of God must come return to its roots by loving Jesus and loving humanity. Let us show love to people around us, the poor, the downtrodden, the rich,” he encouraged.
