AIG Zone XI Vows To Weed Out Kidnappers, Cultists

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone XI Command Osogbo, AIG Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji, has said enough is enough of the nuisance value of kidnappers and cultists, hence he has ordered the Commissioners of Police Osun and Oyo Commands as well as all the tactical commanders serving under his jurisdiction to all go after them.

He noted that they are obstructing the peace at the respective jurisdiction and as such, any one caught will not be treated with kids gloves but as a criminal.

In a statement by the Zone XI Public Relations Officer, Osogbo, CSP Ayeni Benjamin, disclosed that the Command Police boss gave this order at the maiden security meeting held in his office at Zone XI Command Headquarters Osogbo with the Leadership and Tactical Commanders in both Osun and Oyo States under the command.

The meeting which was held behind closed doors gave the AIG and the officers the opportunity to map out strategies to protect the lives of both security personnel, citizens and properties within the zone.

He assured the public that proactive action against crime and criminalities would be taken and ensure that the Zone is kept as the most peaceful in the country.

Officers present at AIG Zone XI Command maiden security meeting were Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command CP. Hamzat A. Ayinde, the Deputy Commissioners of Police in the Zonal headquarters with Assistant Commissioners of Police in the zone, Police Mobile Force, PMF 4 Ibadan, PMF 39 Osogbo, PMF 72 Ago Are, Special Protection Unit Base 11 Osogbo, Base 22 Ibadan, Counter Terrorist Unit Ibadan Commanders and PPRO Zone XI Command.
