For defrauding an American by pretending to be Raymond Bush, a staffer of the United States Treasury department, one notorious Precious Ojo, aka Obago, a suspected internet fraudster has been arrested in Oghara, Delta State.
Precious, 26 years old, had defrauded the victim of $268,000.00 through false pretence and was arrested by operatives of the Benin Zonal Commander of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The petitioner alleged that the suspect (Precious Ojo) impersonated one Raymond Bush who works in the US Treasury to defraud her of $268,000.00.
The suspect was arrested
at his hotel in Oghara and has confessed to building the luxury hotel with his alleged proceeds of crime.
According to Head, Media & Publicity, Wilson Uwujareni, other items recovered from him included a Mercedes-Benz car with personalized plate number and mobile phones.
The suspect will be arraigned in court soon.
