A member of the Chattered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Lagos, Adegoke Omotola has encouraged Nigerian youths to seek knowledge.
Omotola who was a guest speaker at the CIPM youth empowerment summit tagged: “Positioning your skills for global opportunities” in Lagos recently said, “What you know, makes you known.”
Omotola further emphasised on the need for youths to get to know more about information and happenings around them as it widens their knowledge base.
Furthermore, he explained the need to see themselves as great individuals. He said,”you can only be great when you ascribe and see yourself as great even from the little problems around you solve”.
In attendance were other guest speakers including Ronke Oyewo, the President of the CIPM Ikeja chapter, and other CIPM members.
The event didn’t come to an end untill gifts and awards were presented to the guest speakers. The first two people in attendance and the most interactive participants also got gifts.
