Politics:Bayelsa House of Assembly Hopeful, Re-commits, Reinforces Community Based Consultations

In consonance with values and customs of his Ogbia kingdom ethnic group of origin, Son of former President Goodluck Jonathan and House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ogbia Constituency one, Bayelsa state, Eng. Azibalamawal Jonathan on Sunday reinforced his consultations,as he paid two different courtesy visits to Communitiy members of his hometown,Otuoke.

His media team reports that the Assembly hopeful had earlier made his intentions to vye for the legislative seat known to the larger Otuoke Communitiy,while the second visit to the community was specifically to intimate youths of his intentions.

They media group added that the aspirant re-echoed his desire towards having the full backing of the community’s Youths in the forthcoming polls, just as the aspirant image makers have mentioned that he had in the same vein visited his ancestral war-canoe House, ‘ESOSI FAMILY’ where he was said to have formally declared his intentions to the large family, where the visibly elated members where seen pouring out Eulogies on him.

Accompanied by supporters in their numbers,headed by former president of the Youth wing of the famous Ogbia Brotherhood,Dr Laguo Gilbert and the extant coordinator of his interim campaign train,Mr Ramson Micah, respectively,the team hinted the audiences at the two different Community’s strongholds that the Assembly hopeful was there to formally declare his ambition to them,because he holds them in high esteem.

Speaking at the Otuoke town hall,the duo of Gilbert and Micah, who were leaders of the aspirant’s mission to the youths gathering commended the youths of the community for seeing the pursuit of the House of Assembly seat of Azibalamawal as theirs,noting that the aspirant have worked out blueprint for youth empowerment in the Constituency,and that because he has good plans for them,hence the ‘special consultation visit.’

Welcoming the aspirant and his team separately at the two different consultation visits,the duo of the Otuoke Youth President,comrade Ephraim Oki and the Esosi family head,chief Bonus Osain,represented by chief Isekpar Ebugha applauded the aspirant for his foresight,saying they least expected him to pay them a special visit after declaring his intentions to the entire Communitiy recently,appealing to the community’s youths and every member of the Esosi family to see the aspiration of Azibalamawal Jonathan as theirs,just as they reemphasized that the aspirant should continue reposing confidence in the family and the Otuoke youths.

On his part,the aspirant lauded the ‘Esosi family’ and the Otuoke youths for standing with him from the first day he started nursing the ambition of contesting for the forthcoming Assembly election.

Azibalamawal noted that the contest was not his alone,but for the Otuoke Communitiy and the entire Ogbia Constituency one, just as he called on well-meaning people and stakeholders to put in their best in ensuring that he succeeds at the party primaries and the forthcoming general election.

The media team of the aspirant also told National Wire confidently that friends and well-wishers of the aspirant as well as notable youth leaders of Otuoke attented the aspirant’s and youth parley, amongst whom include, former youths presidents, of the community,Mr John Godfrey and comrade,Dominion Solomon, respectively.
